Ancient Words For Today - Matthew 28:20

When we face difficult or troubling circumstances in our life we may begin to ask why God allowed them to touch us or why
he hasn’t removed them in answer to our prayers. In our despair, we may even wonder if God has abandoned us in our trials.
Such thoughts are common, and in fact, Satan is quick to use such situations - hoping to get us to question God,
or even blame Him for our situation, and thus foment discord between us and God. But God will never abandon those
who have put their faith and trust in Jesus.

Below are a few Bible scriptures that bring clarity, comfort, peace and hope in God – who always will be with us and
is sure to act in our best interest when we encounter adversity.

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee;
he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Deuteronomy 31:6

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes
intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit,
because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good
to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose……For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life,
nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (From Romans 8:26-39)
