When we face difficult or troubling circumstances in our life we may begin to ask why God allowed them to touch us or why he hasn’t removed them in answer to our prayers. In our despair, we may even wonder if God has abandoned us in our trials. Such thoughts are common, and in fact, Satan is quick to use such situations - hoping to get us to question God, or even blame Him for our situation, and thus foment discord between us and God. But God will never abandon those who have put their faith and trust in Jesus.
