GOSPEL MESSAGE -

THE GOOD NEWS OF SALVATION THROUGH JESUS CHRIST

The Apostle John wrote the Gospel Of John, which is the first book in the New Testament of the Bible. In this book John explains who Jesus Christ is, why He came from Heaven to the earth, and why His death on the cross and resurrection some 2000 years ago are so vitally important to each and every one of us.
Below are the words John wrote about Jesus Christ in the first chapter of his book.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

There was a man sent from God, whose name [was] John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all [men] through him might believe. He was not that Light, but [was sent] to bear witness of that Light. [That] was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (John 1:1-14)

John declared that the Word (Jesus) was always with God, and that the Word was God, ever since the beginning. The Word created all things that have ever been created (including mankind) and is the author and source of life itself.

The Word then became flesh: that is, the Word (God) became a human being, and dwelt among us. That man was Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, the only Begotten Son of our Heavenly Father. Jesus was and is God and is full of grace and truth.

Jesus lived a perfect life on earth, obeying all of God's commandments, and demonstrated and declared that God loved us. But Jesus also explained that every man and woman was separated from having a relationship with God because of the sin in their lives and that they needed a savior to be reconciled to a Holy God.

Jesus is the one and only Savior that God the Father had promised, through His prophets, to send into the world to redeem mankind from the penalty of sin - which is death and eternal separation from God.

Jesus died on the cross, taking the penalty for our sins, so that our sins could be forgiven by God and we could be reconciled to Him through faith in what Jesus did. Those who hear this message and receive Jesus as their Savior and Lord are forgiven their sins and given eternal life and will dwell in God's presence forever. That is why this message is called the Gospel, which means GOOD NEWS!

Consider for a moment that God created all that you can see as well as what you cannot see; He also created you!
He loves you more than you could ever imagine and He wants to have a personal relationship with you so that you can dwell with Him forever and ever!

Jesus came so that you might have eternal life and that your life might be abundant and full of joy.

He was punished so you don't have to be. Not only that; death did not defeat Him. After three days, Jesus rose from the dead, alive again!
Trusting in Jesus' sacrifice for you is the only way to find forgiveness from God and to begin a relationship with Him.

The gospel (which means good news) can change your life in an instant.
His death on the cross and resurrection have made available to you
God's free gift of eternal life, in His very presence, when you believe in Jesus, our Savior.

Have you believed on Jesus to save you
and make you a son of God?
If not, why not do so right now?

If you would like to be forgiven and pardoned by God for all of your sins,
you need to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
By so doing, you will receive God's grace and eternal life!

Here is a simple prayer you can pray to God right now if you are ready:

God, forgive me for all of my sins and come into my heart and my life.
God, I believe with all I understand that Jesus Christ is the Son of God
and that when Jesus died on the cross, He paid the penalty for my sins,
and then rose again from the grave on the third day.

I believe in Jesus and receive Him right now as my Lord and Savior.
Please help me to turn away from sinful thoughts and behaviors
and to live my life in the ways that are pleasing to You.

Thank you Father for forgiving all my sins and
giving me eternal life through Jesus Christ, my Lord.

In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer and have received Jesus as your Savior and Lord - WELCOME TO THE FAMILY OF GOD!
Please send us a message and let us know. We would also be happy to answer any questions.
