It seems there was this couple from Minneapolis, Minnesota who decided to go to Florida for a few days to thaw out during particularly cold weather. Since both spouses worked, they had difficulty coordinating their schedules, so the decision was made to have the husband leave for Florida on a certain day, with the wife following him one day later.

The man made it down to Florida and arrived at his hotel. Upon getting to his room, he decided to open his laptop and send his wife, back in Minneapolis, an email. However, he left off one letter in typing his wife's email address and sent the email off without realizing his error.

In another part of the country, a widow had just returned from the funeral of her husband, a Methodist pastor of many years, who had been called to glory just a few days earlier. She decided to check her email because she was expecting to hear from her husband's relatives and friends.

Upon reading the first email, she let out a loud scream, fainted and fell to the floor. The woman's son rushed into the room and found his mother on the floor. He glanced up at the computer screen and saw the following email message:

      To My Loving Wife,

I've just been checked in. Everything has been prepared for your
arrival here tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you then.
      Your Devoted Husband.

P.S. Sure is hot down here!

Do you know where you are going when you die? Will it be Heaven or Hell?
We all will face death some day. The Bible says:

"It is appointed unto man once to die, and then the judgement."

Therefore, the most important question each of us will ever be faced with in life is, Where will I spend eternity?

Have you considered what it will be like when you die and your spirit leaves your body? Are you confident that you will spend eternity in the presence of God almighty or don't you know for sure?

Did you know the Bible says we all have a choice about our final destination? If we turn to God and admit that we have broken His laws and ask Him to forgive our sins, God will pardon us and give to us etenal life and we will go to Heaven when we die. But if we reject or ignore God's precious offer of forgiveness, we will spend eternity in Hell.

Do you know the basis by which God if willing to forgive your sins? Have you understand that Jesus took your place? He died on the cross, taking the penalty for your sins upon Himself, so that you could receive forgiveness of your sins and the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus!

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16

If you have understood that Jesus died in your place and have already received His gift of eternal life, Praise the Lord!!

If not, why not receive Him right now and secure your advance ticket to Heaven? The alternative is not something you would want to experience!

We encourage you to refer to the LIFEQUEST "Food for Thought" topics of Salvation and Gospel which will further explain what He has done for you, how much God loves you and show you how to receive Jesus as your Savior and Lord.

God bless you and have a great day!
