Now I see why powerful people often wear sunglasses - the spotlight
blinds them to reality. They suffer from a delusion that power means
They suffer from the misconception that titles make a difference. They are under the impression that earthly authority will make a heavenly difference.
Can I prove my point?
Take this quiz:
* Name the ten wealthiest people in the world.
How did you do? I didn't do well either. With the exception of you
But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten.
See how you do on this one:
* Think of three people you enjoy spending time with.
Easier? It was for me, too. The lesson? The people who make a difference are not the ones with the credentials, but the ones with the concern.
"Do you understand that God is concerned about you? He loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to the earth to tell us so!
Jesus loves us so much that He died on the cross, taking the penalty for our sins upon Himself, so that we could receive forgiveness of our sins and the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus!
If you have understood that Jesus died in your place and have already received His gift of eternal life, Praise the Lord!!
If not, why not receive Him right now?
We encourage you to refer to the LIFEQUEST "Food for Thought" topics of Salvation and Gospel which will further explain what He has done for you, how much God loves you and show you how to receive Jesus as your Savior and Lord.
God bless you and have a great day!
